Entity Structure

Current Phase: Shadow Mainnet Testing

Multyr contracts are deployed on Arbitrum One. The system is currently in validation phase. Deposits are not open to the public. Behavior described on this page reflects the protocol's designed behavior; some mechanisms are active in shadow testing, others become active at public launch. See the Status page for details.

The Multyr ecosystem is supported by a set of legally distinct entities, each with a clearly defined role. No single entity controls the Protocol or has discretionary authority over user capital.

Protocol-level control is exercised exclusively through on-chain multisig governance (SAFE_GOV 3-of-5 with SAFE_VETO 1-of-1 and SAFE_GUARDIAN 1-of-1, all subject to ROOT_TIMELOCK 48h delay). See Governance Addresses for full architecture. Legal entities described on this page operate in support of the ecosystem but do not have unilateral authority over Protocol behavior, user funds, or Treasury disbursements.

Multyr Foundation — Panama

The Multyr Foundation is a non-profit foundation established in Panama with the purpose of supporting the development, sustainability, and coordination of the Multyr ecosystem.

The Foundation acts as a coordination and stewardship layer for certain off-chain and ecosystem-level functions, including:

  • Supporting the evolution of governance frameworks as the system decentralizes over time
  • Overseeing treasury-related coordination and ecosystem funding initiatives
  • Coordinating the allocation of protocol-related revenues, which are received on-chain by the Treasury Safe (see Governance Addresses) and disbursed through governance proposals subject to the 48-hour timelock
  • Maintaining ownership of key ecosystem assets (including domain names and infrastructure)
  • Supporting the future issuance and lifecycle coordination of the Multyr governance token (MTRY — not yet deployed; scheduled for Token Generation Event, see Token Status)
  • Administering grant programs for ecosystem development

The Foundation does not:

  • Control the Multyr Protocol
  • Execute or intervene in on-chain transactions
  • Manage user funds
  • Provide financial or investment services

The Foundation operates as a non-profit entity and does not engage in commercial activities directed toward users.

Multyr Labs Ltd — Switzerland

Multyr Labs Ltd is a Swiss-based company operating as an independent technology provider contributing to the Multyr ecosystem.

Labs is responsible for:

  • Research and development of smart contract systems
  • Testing, auditing coordination, and technical validation
  • Frontend and interface development
  • Infrastructure maintenance and DevOps support
  • Development and delivery of smart contract components (including token contracts)
  • Research and design of new DeFi strategies

Multyr Labs Ltd:

  • Does not receive protocol-level fees directly from smart contracts
  • Does not control or access the treasury
  • Does not custody or manage user funds

Labs operates under service agreements and provides technical services on a contractual basis, without acting as an operator of the Protocol.

Governance Multisig Composition

On-chain governance operates through four independent multisigs with separation of powers (see Governance Addresses for addresses and thresholds). Signers are appointed through Foundation and Labs governance processes. Signer identities remain undisclosed during the shadow testing phase.

All multisig configurations (threshold, signer addresses, owners) are independently verifiable on-chain via the Safe UI or Arbiscan. Changes to multisig composition are themselves subject to the 48-hour timelock.

Signer selection is designed to evolve as the system decentralizes through subsequent phases. No representation is made that current composition will remain unchanged.

Separation of Roles

The Multyr ecosystem is structured to ensure clear separation between:

LayerEntityFunction
Protocol executionOn-chain smart contractsAutonomous, rule-based execution
Ecosystem coordinationMultyr FoundationStewardship, treasury coordination, grants
Technology developmentMultyr Labs LtdR&D, engineering, infrastructure

No single entity:

  • Controls the full system
  • Has discretionary authority over user capital
  • Acts as an investment manager or financial intermediary

No Advisory Relationship

Nothing on this page or elsewhere in Multyr documentation creates an advisory, fiduciary, employment, investment management, brokerage, or agency relationship between the user and any Multyr entity (Foundation, Labs, or otherwise).

Users are not clients of the Multyr Foundation, Multyr Labs Ltd, or any other Multyr entity by virtue of interacting with the Protocol. No Multyr entity owes any duty of care, loyalty, suitability, or best execution to Protocol users.

Governing Law and Disputes

  • The Multyr Foundation is organized under the laws of the Republic of Panama.
  • Multyr Labs Ltd is organized under the laws of Switzerland.
  • Disputes involving the Foundation are subject to Panamanian law and exclusive jurisdiction of Panamanian courts.
  • Disputes involving Labs are subject to Swiss law and exclusive jurisdiction of Swiss courts.
  • The Protocol itself is decentralized and non-custodial; disputes about Protocol behavior are a matter between users and the on-chain system.
